Alisa wine & friends: Reviews & Ratings
We started with the sake espresso martini and sake margarita. Both were excellent with the margarita being light and refreshing. Appetizers were flatbread, veggies, eggplant dip, and the spicy feta. The star was the spicy feta. The eggplant dip had too much tahini and not enough eggplant. Bread is not included, but the prices were reasonable enough to buy all the appetizers. The grilled haloumi was tasty, and the meatballs were good, although the white sauce on top was out of place. Mains were chicken skewers and wagyu sirloin skewers, and we got a side of roasted potatoes. I wasn't super impressed with either of the proteins, but I would order the potatoes again. We celebrated two birthdays, and they brought a fantastic goat cheesecake with passion-fruit on the side, which I would absolutely order next time. Service went quickly in the beginning, so we had to slow them down. Also, the waitress poured wine first for the men, which was a first. And she tried to grab the drink without it being completely finished.
Today, my friend and I visited Alisa Wine & Friends for the first time, and I was absolutely blown away. From the interior to the smallest details, everything is thoughtfully designed. It was incredibly pleasant to take in such carefully curated decor inside the restaurant - you can truly feel the soul and refined taste in every element. The food was outstanding. Our waitress, Kelly, was very attentive, and the bussers made a flawless impression as well - after every course, they made sure to clear plates, keep the table clean, and check in on us, which really allowed us to relax and fully enjoy our time at the restaurant. I highly recommend this place to everyone. If you're looking for the perfect combination of exceptional food and beautiful aesthetics, this restaurant is an absolute must-visit.
This is literally one of the best restaurants in Los Angeles — if not the best. They call themselves a Greek restaurant, but the cuisine is so refined, elevated, and deeply flavorful that you’ll find yourself ordering way more than you planned (and not regretting a single bite). This is exactly the kind of place LA has been missing: a warm, stylish atmosphere, a beautiful cozy patio, exceptional food, and truly high-level service that makes you want to linger. I’m absolutely in love. The only thing you’ll need to plan ahead for? A reservation. This place is packed — and for very good reason.
First time here tonight and honestly, really glad I came. The place looks good. Clean, put together, the kind of spot that actually cares about how it presents itself. Food was solid too, quality ingredients, well made, nothing to complain about. But the thing that actually stuck with me was the valet. I’d left a clear envelope with cash in my car and totally spaced on it. When he pulled the car around he immediately let me know, had already covered it and parked where the cameras could see it. Nobody asked him to do that. He just handled it. That’s the kind of detail that shows you what a place is really made of. Good food and a nice interior will get you in the door, but that’s what keeps you coming back. Will definitely return.
I just visited Alisa Wine & Friends and it’s definitely one of the best Mediterranean Greek-inspired restaurants in Venice beach. The vibe is cozy yet elevated, perfect for a date night or a relaxed dinner with friends. We tried the spicy feta, hummus, Wagyu skewers, grilled potatoes with Greek yogurt, and the tomato salad everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully executed. The Wagyu skewers were incredibly tender, and the spreads were perfect for sharing. Simple dishes done at a very high level. Amazing food quality, great wine selection, and attentive service. If you’re looking for a top wine bar and restaurant in Venice beach with great Mediterranean food, this spot is a must. Highly recommend
This is one of the most incredible places I’ve ever visited. Alice Café has just launched new Breakfast and Brunch options — and of course, I had to try them. I’ve been to many places across Los Angeles, but this is the first time I’ve experienced such a light, authentic Greek atmosphere. The refined and inviting design, along with a wide selection of exquisite dishes at reasonable prices, make this place truly special. I’ll definitely be coming back for dinner!
From the moment we walked in, everything was absolutely perfect for my husband and me. The interior is beautifully designed, creating a warm and refined atmosphere. The service was attentive, professional, and genuinely welcoming, making us feel truly cared for throughout the entire evening. The food was exceptional. Every dish was presented with great attention to detail, the balance of flavors was impeccable, and the visual presentation was simply stunning. Everything we ordered was delicious, fresh, and thoughtfully prepared. A special mention goes to the chocolate mousse with olive oil — an absolute must-have dessert. Unique, perfectly balanced, and unforgettable. We truly look forward to returning and highly recommend this restaurant to everyone who appreciates Greek cuisine — and even to those who are just discovering it.
Absolutely loved this place! We ordered the branzino, Cottage Cheese Pancakes, and the crab omelet — everything was truly outstanding. You can taste the quality and freshness in every bite. And I have to highlight their cappuccino — incredibly smooth, not over-steamed, not boiled, just perfectly balanced. One sip and you fall in love instantly! The service was exceptional — friendly, attentive, and very professional. Everything felt top-tier. If you go, you must try their flatbread with your meal — highly recommend it. Overall, a fantastic dining experience. I’ll definitely be coming back!
